To not think about what one is doing or about to do can be a good thing. Thinking is hard on the brain. Instead — Just do it! Of course you may or may not like what you “just did”.
Junk, it’s all junk! It was required and desired in the beginning … but now it is just junk. Why is it still there? Too many things that serve no purpose. Make an effort and clean it up, or not.
When I discover new drawing or painting techniques I tend to exploit myself. More often than not this sends a work to the trash can.
