Painting is hard. I can see every misplaced brush stroke. Deep within myself I have this urge to panic and quit. Arg! So much work to do.
At this stage mindlessness is pretty much ancient history. I actually have to make decisions … arg! Did I mention thinking is hard on the brain!
I have been creating numerous “mindless and thoughtless” sketches and scribbles. These drawings are the studies for my new painting.
I am currently working on a logo for my gallery website. Naturally I chose to go with a logo that has curves and straight lines.
Over the past 2 weeks I’ve scribbled some new images. Although I claim mindlessness they can often appear planned.
I’ve circled back to being an artist. Hopefully smarter, wiser and full of Zen. When I say full of Zen I mean my work is thoughtless.
